Away tomorrow night. Hair cut 9am tomorrow (at home), need to leave house at 9.45 latest, with hair dried and done to drive to get train. Shall I:
a) pack case tonight so I can do a little work done in the morning, have hair cut, quickly dry and tong, leave on time and tootle along all chilled out, or
b) plan to pack in the morning. Get up really early, make tea, have loads of time to spare, come on MSE, lose track of time, end up running round like on of THESE?

Couldn't get link to work, but I would choose the second option, then when I am lounging on the sofa with my feet up having a cuppa, I can imagine you hurtling around like a nutter.
Thinking about it, my first call is at 7.30am so I don't suppose I will be lounging either

Unless the grumbling boiler is an euphemism - DO NOT IGNORE
OK, tasks for today, before I get train:
[STRIKE]Text gas man and drop off key before it packs up [/STRIKE] Oops.

Morning GG, sorry to hear about the boiler, hope it's a simple problem - dig out your thermals to keep toasty. Hot toddies, mulled wine will help, I'm sure :T
I'm listening to some guys argue on this call so had better intercede.

. I think DS at gf's tonight, if not there is another heater he can have upstairs. Hopefully by the time I get back tomorrow it will be fixed

Put me down for 21st if not too late please. This will be my first MF party and I'm really looking forward to it. Not sure what to wear, will it be formal? Or will the formal wear be when all the mortgages are gone?
Better that the boiler has some TLC now than closer to Xmas. We had a boiler problem in that week between Xmas and New Year a few years ago and oh my word, what a nightmare.0 -

Wear what you like numpts (is it ok to call you that). Personally, as it will be in the morning, I'm planning on a rather nifty spotty pj's and furry slippers combo
. Better than fur coat and no knickers as my mum used to say
.
Boiler fixed :T. Twas as suspected a dead fan. Will be around £150 (not sure how that compares to others, but will be dependent on cost of getting a replacement - it's a part my gas man keeps in stock). Eek .A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Morning GG, good news on the boiler being fixed.
I saw a rather fetching onesy (no clue how to spell) which would be a lovely outfit for Froggy to wear to the party on the 21st :rotfl:
