you thought they'd never end? Oh yes, those were the days my friend.
    Thats the one :rotfl:

Funny how we think we will be young forever then we blink and where did the last 20 years go to. I only bent down to tie my shoe laces (and yes I had short skirts too!!)

I bet you had short skirts! Luckily for me, I'm not as mad as that teenager, I doubt I'd have lasted if I was...
Hope you had big knickers on cherisong! :rotfl:
This was the first flush of women's lib! Knickers were *not* big! And bras didn't exist :D

Come on then KC, how's about a photo of you in those velvet hotpants??! :rotfl:
 I never wore them around my parents long enough to get my photo taken :rotfl: we didn't have our own cameras/phones in those days, you know :D :kisses3:

I have actually checked the photos I've scanned into the lappie, but I'll check the paper photos too :kisses3:

Thanks! More research needed, but I've spent today reserving sets of four London hotel rooms over Easter, then hopping down to the coast to collect my new dress - no photo of that either, oops ...

  • I was born in a hot country and I've seen pictures of my mum in maternity wear shorter than the tops were are all loving in the clothes !!!!!! thats been going around, mind you she is pretty tall so I guess that just made everything short even shorter :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm sure it did! I know my skirts were shorter than the present day tunics :D I had a look at my scanned photos, and there's one there I'll do later - crew neck with a chiffon scarf, under a pvc mac, and for a change I wasn't smiling - I thought I looked *so* cool in that rig :D

Today .... tidying, which is much more important than it sounds, as it also includes rationalising storage :j which gives me access and space all at once :j

One hour paid work, no more s*dding hotel phone calls and website trawls, just getting things clear.

I might even be able to potter in the *garden* tomorrow :j:j:j

  • Woo to a pottering Saturday KC! :j Fingers crossed you can get the tidying to a level today that you are happier with to let the pottering commence tomorrow then. Ooh "Let the Pottering commence!" - I like that line! :rotfl:

    Looking forward to that photo.....!

That piece of work is done and dusted, early lunch eaten, giggled at Let The Pottering Commence - thats a wonderful title for a diary :rotfl: EH, you should use it!

I think I might pop to Sainsbo this afternoon (avoiding germs, of course) and see if there's any sale items left. While lunch is going down, tho, I'll check the *other* set of photos :D
