I just bought a double din dvd/satnav player for the car ,it has a place for an SD card with the satnav software on, it runs on Windows CE 5.0
What i wanted to know was what software do i need to run on this ,i have seen lots that are for mobiles,PDA`s,HTC`s,Android etc would software for a mobile phone work or do i need something else ?

i use IGO 8 software which is downloadable off the net. just load it on your sd card from your pc, put the sd card in the sat nav and follow the instructions when it auto starts.0

You could also use tomtom for windows as your navigation software cant remember what the full name is but its the one that runs on pdas etc0
