Scottvest

Re the Scottvest and beating budget airlines - Martin advertised this multi pocketed jacket as a way around taking extra items on board (particularly airlines like Ryanair and Easyjet etc). I bought a similar jacket and used it on a recent flight and didn't have any problems but I have been informed (recently) that Ryanair have signs up about not taking laptops etc. in these jackets. I'm not sure about the exact content of the notices but I was informed that they are searching people and if they are wearing these jackets they have to remove them and the contents and add to their hand luggage ... which will likely be overweight? Has anyone heard/seen anything similar please? I am due to travel Ryanair soon and was going to use my vest.
