We've gone for a Britax B-Smart thingy because it was on offer with a car seat and carrycot for £399! The only thing DH and I managed to agree on was that we'd get the cheapest one that did the job lol but it was soooo hard handing over so much money - we're both so tight these days :rotfl: can't believe we're half way there already, time is just flying past!
Ooh I've never seen that Britax one, will have to show OH see what he thinks! I know what you mean about time flying, its scary!
PAD for me today is £22 please
Hope everyone is well today!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Reet DLA day...(did this about 6am..online banking - ya gotta love it
)....
£140 to OD (stupid thing - argh...my poor baby)
and £10 savings
Just blown this week's budget on stuff @ charity shop. Went looking for baking books (anyone have a good Lemon Drizzle cake recipe? I need one..Prof R made one last week and now I've got competition :rotfl: for being cake woman at the psych hosp) and they were okay. two massive hardback cake books for£1 ea :j...
Then I spied a rechargeable hoover - baring in mind the bosch weighs a tonne anything is useful here....and then a dustbuster @ £5 and £3 respectively.....whoops....The dustbuster (unlike my last one) is not car only so have just cleaned it and it's now drying and should be good. It's a black and decker?
And I had a brilliant frugal find this am on which - argos value fridge for £100 scores 66% which if it were a cooker would make it a best buy...so that's what Ma is getting as a replacement fridge. I went ape at her yesterday for not consulting me to consult on which re the fridge she was getting from the insurance. the Hotpoint @ £200 only scores 47% - pathetic
.......so she hadn't bought it so an hour and a morning of research and this is what I find (if in doubt these days goes for Beko - cheap and cheerful and does the job)...
Anyhow that's postie
Am so not with it this am it's unreal...anyone else know that feeling?
