Another £5 in to the school trip pot, and a further £1.61 to the uniform fund. Who said education was free?!?!

I am thinking about going to ask the head to see if I can get the school residential trip subsidised in some way but i'm not on any benefits other than working and child tax credits...but I am always skint!!! Anyone else ever had any luck with asking for such a big trip to be reduced in cost?

Hi all, another £1 to Barclaycard today. Knackered as actually got up when my alarm went off (5am) and did some tidying and put washing away before leaving for work (6am start). Very unusual for me as I'm mostly zombie-like in the mornings.

Sorry to hear about the ipod FF. :(

    Hey everyone,
For those doing the dreaded shred i feel your pain. I did it every day for 16 days then could do no more, but i have to say it does work. I just need to build up the courage to do it again.

Ooh nickynoo this is me as well - I know I need to start doing it again but I'm scared of the pain. I'm always paranoid about someone seeing me doing my Shred workout as well - big windows, no blinds/curtains in the living room as on the third floor. :o As anyone who's done Shred will know, it is *not* a good look by the end of the workout!:rotfl:

Well I didn't think I would be able to make a PAD till next week but I've found an old credit card statement with £18.50 credit on it, that is whizzing its way (or should I say when they feel like transferring it!) back to my bank account. Woohoo! So a huge (for me) PAD of £18.50 please today.
I've also started my own diary if anyone would like to look in and say hi your more than welcome.(it will soon get lonely over there yacking to myself, lol)

    Evening all

Pad of £13.11 to the cc's please f_f, sorry about your ipod. Can you do music on your phone?

Quick question about payments and stuff, I know I've been around here a while, but I only include extra payments, not the standard ones. Should I include my new payments to HMRC for things like NIC and VAT (really scary stuff this!)
