I have made PADS of £262 today with another smaller but equally good PAD of £100 ish in the next few days.
The next target on my hit list is the MBNA card with a balance of £593, i will be recieving a cheque from british gas in the next few days for £70 so that will be a good start, am giving myself a goal of end of may to have this paid,
Hope your all having a nice sunny day where ever you are!

Evening all
I am so miffed, today I had to use money that I put aside to clear my barclaycard,to cover a shortfall in the rent this month.I'm hopping mad as hubbys account is looking rather bare but he doesn't know why. We've prob fittered it on bits and pieces but he rarely checks his account at the hole in the wall apart from when rent is due.He doesn't open his paper statements and hates the idea of internet and telephone banking!I despair. It's not that he's bad with budgeting,he's normally pretty good but he couldn't care less about it all.Whereas I check my accounts daily-touch of ocd!lol
Anyway well done to those who have made whooping PADs or cleared debts today.
My PAD is 5.00 to my now v empty pot.:(*Sulk *Stamps foot:p

There's a giant weight that lifts off your shoulders when you pay the final payment. My figures are in my signature - I cleared over £9,000 in 25 months, so it's doable, you just have to plug at it.
I'm now PADding to savings and find that I get massive satisfaction from seeing the balance go up - when I was PADding before it was to see balances go down :rotfl:
I always point people to this thread when they talk about their debts. PAD doesn't work for everyone, but without it I would be in more debt than £9,000 and I would be miserable. With this one simple idea and the support of so many PADders I'm proud to be debt-free. Thanks guys :T0 -
I Cant wait to get to that point FF, with mine and my other halfs earnings, according to the snowball, we can clear it in 18 months.
I know i can do it, i have no urge to borrow anymore so my balance is only going to go one way!
I just need to be discplined and stick with the padding and hey presto, we can get on with our lives.
£10 off the barclaycard please:).0 -
