Off to see QPR vs Foxes in London on 5th March- first match for about a year - I haven't been to a home match for 3 years!! I do miss "the Western" pub back home for a beer and then the game from when I had a season ticket.
I also used to chat to "Roy" from Corrie in the Western on every matchday (he's a Leicester born and City fan for the threads info!!)
Lol yeah can you remember when he used to put all the City references into sneezes and stuff? I always remember him reading out a serial number for a washing machine or something that started L.. C.. F.. C...
When I worked at the ground one of my roles for a while was as matchday hostess for the VIP boxes (get me being dead good at carrying plates) - it was usually council people, the odd ex or injured player - imagine my shock when one day I waltzed in with the tea and coffee urns to find David and Victoria Beckham sitting there (looking really bored hahaha). Dunno what that was all about but I wasn't even allowed to get their autographs, it was against the rules! They were pleasant enough though and Victoria is actually nowhere near as glum as she looks in the papers, well she wasn't then anyway.
Me too ;)and my..well... OH's team won! He was jumping around the livingroom....:p
Haha they were just lucky...

Paul, did you enjoy the match? I think they should be really proud of themselves, watching on the telly it looked like they were more than matching Man Utd.
I did enjoy myself very much thanks. Not just the match but the whole occasion.
Once Crawley started finding their feet they did at least equal Man Utd - though there were some tricky moments until they got to that point.0 -
Morning all,
Almost. Having trouble getting back to sleep so I thought I would have a nose about.
I'm not sure how much to post today so might just go for the usual £1-00. Yes, that sounds good.
I will hopefully be asleep again by the time the next drooler staggers in.
gosh you can almost hear the zzzzz's.
