    Hi everyone,
    £30 to car tax fund forgot it was due this month :mad:

    Has anyone else applied for a sun holiday still waiting for mine to come back in the hope i can have a cheap holiday but have been told a lot of people cannot get the dates they wanted? one friend just got given another date even though she ticked the box saying she cant have any other date!
    Two months minimum bills 57%

    Just had the huge pleasure of calling Capital One to close my account. 'Alex' clearly wasn't based in the UK and had a script to stick to :D He told me a letter to confirm account closure takes 4-5 weeks and when I asked why this long he said 'it's just how long it takes'.

    I did manage to throw him completley when I pointed out that they are able to whack late payment fees on just 24 hours after the due date if they don't recieve payment so maybe they should look at actioning closures a little quicker too - I don't think they covered that scenario on his script :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
