Plus they were getting all kinds of 'odd' results from other tests they did (including blood sugar and cholesterol), so some of the additional tests will be to figure out why that is.
So I also told him that if several tests have thrown back weird results, then the main one could have done so as well - but I think we're both aware that it could well be that the others were 'odd' because the main one was telling the real picture. It's just nice to have something to cling to until they're put him through the next round of testsCheryl0 -
Thinking of you both Cheryl, my fingers are crossed for you. Hope it's not as bad as you fear, or if it is, that they've caught it early and can sort it out.0

hey cheryl, i have my fingers crossed that the result is either good or early or managable or whatever the right thing is to wish for. good luck to you both.Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. God Bless my DSIL. :A After spending a couple of hours in the loft with various plumbing items, he has fixed the cold water tank problem.
So now I have a non leaking flat roof, a non leaking cold water tank, and a warm home - they are the positives! On the negative side, I have paid some horrendous Giant Williams in the last week, but, hopefully, they will be the only ones for a while.
DH off to hospital tomorrow for his tests, probably followed by op, then DD in a fortnight, so may not be on here much, for a while. Someone mentioned the price of petrol. The way things are looking, in Egypt, Libya etc, I suggest us oldies guard our bus passes, more than our virtue, cos I reckon filling up the petrol tank is going to be a luxury.

I'm thinking of you Cheryl. Hoping you both get good news from the hospital.
Erme another washing machine? I may be mistaken but didn't you just buy one recently? I know Bosch ones are good, my mother has one but it has still broken down and sprung leaks in the time that she has had it. I don't think that it cleans clothes any better than my cheap (but unreliable) Beko one though. Maybe it would be better to save the money up in an account that pays interest and if your current one dies then you can replace with a brand new one without feeling the pain too much?
Hope everyone is having a good weekend. There are many things in life that will catch your eye, only a few will catch your heart. Pursue those.0 -

Cheryl, thinking of you and your chappie. It must be so frightening for him and hard for you, especially after what you've already been through with your DH.
Cranky, have my fingers crossed for you too.
Hugs all round. xxxTrying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!
