HELLLLP! CW18?
Updating the SoW as today was the supermarket & diesel spend.
For some unfathomable reason the Feb Reg page, where I'm recording the weekly diesel spend, has 'hidden' rows 2 to 8. March, as yet blank (obviously) is complete. Jan Reg, moved out of the way to the end of the spreadsheet, has hidden rows 2 to 5. I've tried highlighting the rows above and below, going to Format > Rows > Unhide - nothing. I'm using Office 2003. Any idea what I can do to get the missing rows visible again?
Thank you.... x0 -

I have 3 children, 23 down to 16, 1st one decisions were harder because i hadnt done things before, ds always new i would phone parents up if he had been invited to a sleepover. secondary school was big turning point and the only advice i can give is to trust your instincts and your child. my motto was i will trust you until the day you abuse my trust. mobile phones are a godsend, they had to answer them when i rang. all my children knew my rules and knew i would ALWAYS find out if they werent followed. so do what you think is right for your child even if that meens going and waiting the first time so they know what to do and where to goMAKE £2022 in 2022 no 29 £2022/£434.10

That looks really good, FF, do you happen to know if the prices are the same as instore?
I had another go with My Supermarket today, Te$co came out much the cheapest, which is good as it's closest. Probably most of what I needed this week included good offers, eg 3 for 2 on cereal and pet food. I printed the shopping list rather than ordering online, drove past Mr T to M0rris0ns, down in main town. Bought half the shopping there, everything that was cheaper than Mr T, decided to get same price items at Mr T for the Clubcard points. Not many same price - bananas 77p/kg, 4 ltrs milk 2 for £2, maybe a couple of others. Forgot loo rolls, which are the same price but Mr M's value ones are softer, gran sugar, wash up sponges, and creme fraiche for something DD wants to cook tomorrow, so I got them in Te$co without comparing Mr M's prices. A bit time consuming but worthwhile, I think.
However - I had Surf washing powder on my list, the 50 wash pack, at £6.00, and I'm sure it didn't say it was an internet-only price. On the shelf it was over £10 and I took it to customer services to check. They insisted the higher price was correct and said loads of items are cheaper online than in store. I thought it should make it clear on the website and left the powder there, finding 2-in -1 tablets in the yellow box at £1.77 for 24 washes, sitting quietly on the shelf, nothing to draw attention to the low price, next to the other colour box at a much higher price. I use one tablet rather than two unless it's for really dirty football kit, so I'm pleased with that. :j
I really don't like Te$co, I do wish we had Mr S within a sensible distance, and a bigger Co-0p.0 -

1 cauli, or equiv in stalks
1 lge onion, chopped
1 med potato, chopped (didn't peel it)
2 cloves garlic
2 sprigs parsley, a bay leaf, sprig thyme
30g butter (I used butter, but any oil would do, didn't think of it until after I'd finished making it)
1 litre stock (veg water, stock cube etc)
100g cheese
100g red lentils
good tsp smoked paprika
sweat all the veg, garlic, herbs and paprika in the butter/oil for a few minutes.
add everything else except the cheese and simmer gently for 20 minutes. remove the herbs and whizz
stir in the cheese, don't allow to boil after the cheese goes in or it will go all stringy
you don't HAVE to have the herbs or the paprika, they do give extra flavour tho
serves 4-6 and is quite filling and very delicious
Copied this to try in the week, thanks Lesley, it sounds fab.
Daft question but do the red lentils have to be soaked first?0 -
