It's lethal when our little Jack snuggles up. She always makes me nod off. It just feels soooooo nice doesn't it?
I can't wait to feel a little sun on my face.

:wave:Hello,
Well done on your race time Cheryl, very impressive
Not doing so bad with the frugalling. Hens seem to be laying an egg each a day now(2 chicks = 2 eggs:D), so really pleased with that.
I'm still plodding on with trying to do a survey a day although seem to get screened out of most of them (probably because I never buy anything:rotfl:)
Still selling things, have parcelled up my music magpie box of stuff and got a few more things for them, but have to have at least 10 items so have to hunt down another 3 or 4 items and can get another parcel together. BTW Christmas albums seem to get a good price!!
Have got a price for DDs old mobile, not much but went through quidco and will get around a fiver with cashback so not complaining as it's old and wasn't expensive in the first place. Think there's another couple of mobiles knocking about so will try to find them too.
Nipped into Mr M today and got a few whoopsies, found pints of organic milk @ 29p each there were 4 so got em all BUT when I got home and looked at the receipt (to enter onto the spreadsheet like a good frugaller:)) I noticed taht I'd been charged full price for 1  It's only 24p but 24p that I wouldn't have spent otherwise. It's from a store about 55 miles away so I can hardly take it back and complain either
All over the flippin place with work this week, Northallerton today, Blackpool Weds, Skegness Thurs and Middlesbrough Fri. Already spent about £150 on petrol and have budgetted £80 - I do get mileage, although that looks likely to be reduced significantly to 'save the country' ( I work in public sector)
Take care all we're all doing brillx

Talking of Spring _ I noticed on Friday when I finished work (we finish at 4.30 on a Friday) that it was still light so Spring definitely coming
And I went up to my other garden on Sunday and there's bulbs poking through tooTidied the greenhouse and pruned the vine in there. DD cut down about half a ton of bamboo - honestly you wouldn't believe how rampant it is! Am utilising some bamboo poles as curtain rails to hang door curtains - how's that for frugal!!

That is a great idea and got me thinking that there might be lots more you could do with it. On ebay you can buy a bamboo ladder towel rail and googled this site as well http://www.bamboocraft.net/forums/archive/index.php/f-49.html It's got some good things on there

May I ask a couple of hen questions ....... I've fancied getting/keeping some for ages but not sure if I've got enough room.
I think they'd have to be in one of these coop/run things but could get out in the garden when I'm around.
Have heard that they really attract vermin - can you stop this? (Don't think my neighbours would be happy even with the bribe of eggs now & then).

Yup, best thing in the world - and I always go into such a deep sleep! (at least until he starts dreaming/snoring/shuffling over the bed). A very adorable (and often naughty) lab who I'm besotted with!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

I had to ring Eon last October too, when they tried to put my direct debit up. I had received a refund of £260 two months before that so couldn't really see why they wanted me to pay more. I gently reminded them that they are my energy suppliers and not a savings scheme, and we agreed to leave the direct debit as it was
Love your reminder to Eon!!!! Well done you!The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0
