If you are stood directly outside Plymouth County Court and look to/walk to your left, you will see both Bar Ha Ha and Morgans. I have only eaten in Bar Ha Ha at xmas (party menus) so can't comment on their food but both good I guess for a coffee to kill some time.

You may be able to see the Theatre Royal from the Court steps (basically stand outside the Court and look straight ahead of you /walk in a straight line or rather walk to your right a bit until you are along the main throughfare with all the buses (its called Royal Parade) and then head left. - the Bank pub is next to the Theatre - food cheap and very cheerful. it used to be better (for food )than it is now.

An alternative place for food is the Brass Monkey so again stood on the Court steps - turn right and walk to/walk across the pelican crossing in the middle of what is a very busy road - its called royal parade as mentioned above and it is basically where all the buses finish/ start their journeys from so you can't miss it !

So now you are on the opposite side of the road and immediately in front of you, you will have the "big screen" and you will see Dingles on the corner. Keep dingles on your left and walk up royal parade so you will have dingles on your left / the road on your right. Continue to the top of this road (you will pass tk maxx / debenhams and at the top of this road you will find the brass monkey pub. their food is good and again reasonably priced. Don't fancy the pub ? then ignore the brass monkey and continue walking to the top of royal parade. you will have lloyds tsb on your left, a camping shop, a h samuels and a coop newsagents ? just round the corner from the h samuels, you will thus stumble across an obriens sandwich bar, and a few other places to eat. I had lunch in the bagatelle place the other day (just along from obriens) for the first time recently and it was very nice.

so if you are stood outside the obriens sandwich bar, you should see the main post office immediately in front of you. If you have plenty of time to spare (imagine stood immediately in front of the obriens sarnie bar) turn left, and head straight and you should see our Mall. They call it a Mall but it doesn't have that many shops compared to I suppose cribbs causeway but it passes the time :rotfl:

That should keep you busy. hope my waffle makes sense !
    happy new year!

    What're you up for?
If it's burglary, when they say you've been acquitted, ask if that means you can keep the stuff.
    :)
