Goodness....would people pay any money to live in a place like that?!! I can imagine the inside. Like anything you could get at B&Q for a few hundred. The laminate flooring and decking was the thing a few years ago, and now they all have the same bathrooms with the same tiles!
It cheapens everything.

The penthouse is just symptomatic of far greater problems.0

I wonder if anybody's put down a deposit on it though. It's possible. Where is it? I'd be interested to see the full details. I've heard of several abroad where people bought into certain floors that were never built as there wasn't the money to do the whole build - and even some "paper buildings" where they've just put up life size pictures of the development they meant to build.0

Mmm, nice, I'll rent that top balcony, what's the price. Do you mind if I install leccy, water, a bog and t'internet? Or can I just empty my potty over the edge, gardy loo stylee (gardez l'eau, French for watch out for the water which they said in the middle ages when they emptied their pithpots onto the street from above, as you do, for the plebs among you). Oh, and I'll need to add a bit of tent cos it might be a tad chilly in winter in the wind and rain and especially when I'm watching Baywatch all nekkid in me birthday suit and such like. And I suppose you supply a rope ladder with it or can I get to it from the roof. Or what. Don't expect me to just catapult myself up to it and then use my plarstic wings to flutter down again, what would elf and shifty say about that, eh? Let me know, ta.0
