One UU today - sachet of Nutriganics smoothing day cream from my swap with Tara. WIB? I might do. It smelt nice but I used it as a night cream rather than day as no SPF. It's to combat the 1st signs of ageing, but I guess 2 applications isn't really long enough to make me look young again :rotfl:

Signing out til next week ladies, as heading off for a few day's hols. Since we're limited on toiletries by the 100mls rule, I can definitely see a modest airport perfume purchase on the cards!

    Be good. :p

Move over I need some space on the naughty step! :)
Got caught up in the Boots sale but the queue was so long went to the self service tills, just checked my receipt and one item I bought went through twice, so ended up paying for an extra item. Can I get my extra payment refunded, although it'll be hard to prove that I made an error.
I will think on my purachses and may return some bits tomorrow as still have lots from the Body Shop! :D
Also stocked up on some original Source shower gel at 66p plus a free mascara from the ACM.
Oh and also swapped an old mascara at Debenhams as well, so that doesn't really count! lol

Have been up to Liverpool for a few days as took DD up there as she has a new job. Can't believe how chatty you all are - well can actually :D Still trying to catch up.

It took me nearly 5 hours to drive back as there was a hold up/accident on the M6  And I had to be back for 2pm as I had my first shift in my new job at our local hospice. It went well but when I went online found the Boots 75% sale tonight. So had a look - hardly anything left and nothing I really wanted, so didn't buy anything :j

Did the clinique mascara swap whilst I was up there - would it be terrible to do it again in my local Debs?

DD had a pressie of a Royal Jelly gift set for Christmas and she didn't want it and gave it to me. I've never tried it before so will give it a go. Any reviews peeps?

I am trying to be so good and being on this thread has helped me think about whether I really really need something :)

I popped into a Boots this morning on the way to work but there was nothing to tempt me. I did buy a set of two bracelets off the fashion jewellery stand though for £2. These were originally £7.50 and I'd had my eye on them before Xmas with the intention of including them in a £50 Xmas shopping evening spend. As it happens, the Xmas shopping evenings weren't on convenient dates for me and so I didn't succumb. £2 is more like their worth IMO! I was fed up at not buying any toiletries in Boots (I know I shouldn't have been) and so popped into Home Bargains to buy some chocolate for comfort eating. While there I bought some dental floss as I will probably run out any day now.

I went on to the Boots website earlier and spent ages trawling through it. I was very pleased to find an Extracts Mango set of Body Butter and Shower Gel for £1.50 but when I tried to add it to the basket it told me it was a discontinued item! I obviously wasn't meant to add to the stash today:rotfl:.

I UU a Dove Visible Effects Body Lotion 50 ml this morning. WIBA? No, it was a sloppy texture and I didn't like the smell, good job it was a freebie!

And - I knew there was something I had to tell you - we are getting a home bargains shop down here !!!!

Ooh - I've just checked the website (not hlding out much hope as the nearest we've had one before was about 70 miles away or something silly!) and we're getting one just over 20 miles away as well, opening at the end of the month, I can see Mum and I will have to go for a browse in due course! :T

Sofababe, thank you. You can tell the level I've been used to buying, when I've never seen FCUK Body Butter in Boots!! The nice stuff I've got has almost inevitably been a gift.

I have a Boots Advantage Card with some points on... that's not QUITE the same as buying ... but I don't NEED body butter. I need to use up what I have ... Mantra time!
There again, everything I have left to use up is more lotiony than buttery. I like the butters. However, come the summer I'll want to use a lighter cream anyway.
These are the thoughts that occupied my mind this morning in the bathroom!

I did have another thought strike me. If I used Tesco Clubcard vouchers and Advantage points for deodorants, toothpaste and hair conditioner I could go the rest of the year without parting with cash for A SINGLE THING.

    Oooh! :):)

I forgot to welcome Mariemcg - hope you've enjoyed what you've read Marie.
The shampoo and conditioner I couldn't recall earlier was Elvive for weak, limp, lifeless hair. The conditioner suits me, the shampoo, I'm not so sure of.
The other was an Alberto VO5 for fine hair that turns greasy.

One UU to report from this morning

Treseme Conditioner! Finally, that bottle seemed to last forever!! and making sure i got every drop out of it, i opened the cap and caught water in it from the shower, gave it a swirl around in the bottle, and threw it over my hair :) of course i rinsed it off after, so my hair got some extra conditioning this morning!!

I finished my treseme conditioner at long last today, I am sure I started it at least 6 months ago, although I have alternated it with others occasionally as felt like a change. Approx 3 uses ago I struggled to get any more out of the bottle but could tell there was still some left and tried to get the top off but found it would not, why do they make lids that dont easily come off? Eventually managed to get off and got 2 1/2 more uses, did 1/2 and 1/2 with T&G conditioner this morning. Shampoo almost finished too, not sure what to use up next yet. Would probably buy again if on offer, but have so many others still to use up it probably wont be for a year or more.

I had no intention of going to boots today, noticed at lunch the sale had started but as I looked when it was 1/2 price and was not tempted I wasnt really going to make any effort to go to a store. I forgot I was going to the dentist and had to walk past Boots so had a quick 5 min in there, not much left in the sale to tempt me but I did see a couple of things in the clearance that did. The Colorspot 30 Mascara eyelash & brow dye kit was reduced to £1, wasnt sure until checking how much it orinally was £7.65, so quite a good saving. I usually do my brows, struggle to dye my lashes usually, and the kit I have been using the last year or so is almost gone so I was actually considering paying full price for a new one so this one appeared just in time and was the only one on the shelf, my shade, dark brown, so to me it was fate. I have not used this brand before, has anyone else? The other thing I bought was Mavala nail varnish remover pads, these were reduced to 50p and I thought they would come in handy for holidays, showing as £6.38 so another good saving. Even better when I went to pay for my 2 items the Colorspot had an extra points offer so I paid £1.50 cash and received 150 points - so technically this was a no spend in my eyes.

A few other ins in the last week or so I exchanged 2 old mascaras for the clinique samples in debehhams. My friend at work gave me 2 £5 No7 mocs and I got the exfoliating sponge which was free and I gave to the friend who gave me the moc the next day (so not really an in) and I paid £1.65 towards a new eyeshadow brush, am in need of a new one so justifiable.

Quite a few UU, my 2nd favourite fragrance, Kenzo Flowers, would buy again as I love the smell but DD & DS bought me a new bottle for christmas so no need to buy more, 2 mascaras, 1 sample size, which I then swapped in debenhams, dove shower gel, lots of samples tried, none of them I will be buying, a Natural Collection body cream, the one swirled gel and cream, which I bought for DD years ago and she tried it once and didnt like and I finished up with it, did not like but was determined to finish it. I have decided I dont like gel products and would buy any gel stuff again. Several JF handbag size serums, WIBA yes if on offer, but I have still got loads of this size left. 1 mitchum & Nivea deodrants spluttering, maybe 1 or 2 days left in them. I dont have any more mitchum spray deo left  except a couple of roll ons and have decided I prefer the sprays. I cant believe when I did a car boot a couple of years ago I sold loads of these for £1 each thinking I had far too many in my stash, wish I hadnt know. I am tempted to go and buy some more mitchum sprays but have decided to see if I can use up the roll ons first and see how I get on with them.
