Might be worth getting an up to date quote on your house. As for the bungalow - any chance of it being split into two lots - ie the bungalow and the empty plot?
the plot is not part of the bungalow (which has a lovely big garden ...the main reason we wanted it)but next to it and is owned by a developer who also owns a large empty plot behind the bungalow and has already asked the lady who owns the bungalow if she wants to sell to him:(
houses are squashed in everywhere round here(east Anglia) and the reason I want to move is where there were originally fields behind us there is an estate of houses built in what they call infilling which is supposed to not be allowed here but its not what you know but who you know:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:when the house that is side on to us was at the planning stage the developer and the council said there would be no windows overlooking us so when it was being built and I saw the windows were on our side I called the council and had a council member squirming on the phone for 30 mins saying we sent the wrong information(in 2 different letters:mad:) and there was nothing we could do about it:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:so now they can see into our house and garden:(:(:(:(...this sort of thing is so common, the local council objects to new building but then are over ruled by cambridge it is so corrupt:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I would not be at all surprised if the developer gets the bungalow, knocks it down and builds a small estate there.

Well, I've been to You-Know-Where this morning for the 75% off sale so I have a few INs to report (should that be confess?:o)

2x Ted Baker Not So Dirty Stop-Out sets -one for me, one for the gift stash (:o yeah, right!!!)
2x Chilli Pepper sets -for the gift stash
1x Gok set (large one that was £45 originally) -mine! :D
and an Elle McPherson Set -gift stash

I also tripped over all my bags on the way through town and landed in Superdrug ;) where I managed to pick up 2 Body Butters, the Coconut & Shea which is delicious, and a Plum and Red Cherry which I've not seen before but also smells yummy for £1.82 each, usually £3.65.
Oh, and a wash in wash out for my hair at the weekend just to keep the colour nice till proper dying time.

Also went to Boots... didn't come out empty handed, to put it mildly :rotfl:. Also got Clinique mascaras at Debenhams, but they were free, so I don't feel bad about them!

Yes I've used them for the offer. Also been to Boots. Bought all presents except for the Ellie McPherson set which I'm going to keep. It's like a tanning set so I should be nice and brown soon.
