I've seen Vanilla and Cherry but neither of them have the menthol in them. I guess I'm in the minority and most people prefer them without.

    Minority of two! :D

the vanilla has a tingley sensation in it - its the one i have always used - not sure if this is the menthol kick you're after :rotfl:

Roshy you're right, it does! I'd forgotten that! But the menthol one was slightly *more* tingly I think. Used to give a slightly cooling feeling to your lips as you breathed out!

Oh Rosemary - you should have said sooner - I think it was Jolly Orange that I had from my cousins - the one that I didnt like after a while, cos it smelled of cloves?? you could have had it !! Its all gone now though. (hurrah for me,but not you!!)

One UU tonight - me and the dog have shared the remains of my Thierry Mugler Angel Celestial Showers - I know you probably arent meant to use shower gel on a dog,but she stank of cow when we got in from the field - the farmer had cleaned out the cow pen and dropped a scoop ful of !!!!!! right outside my gateway, which of course the dog thought was wonderful.... so she now smells of a mixture of caramel and cowsh1t... and i dont smell of anything at all, cos it doesnt smell on me !! WIBA ?? no - it was part of a set from my brother a million Christmasses ago, and I dont like it much.

And - I knew there was something I had to tell you - we are getting a home bargains shop down here !!!!

Ended up getting a nail varnish with the Diet Coke offer in Boots. I had no intentions of doing so, but needed to buy some regular Diet Coke and it had sold out elsewhere, so it ended up happening.

I got the plum colour. It's lovely! :)

Today I have done this challenge for a year! £85 saved in pot in total. Still have lots more to use up. What has really surprised me with this challenge is how long products last and I try to remind myself of this every time I look at toiletries. Still haven't bought anything this month but am due to do an order to LE in the next few days so that I don't have to pay postage but the products are all stuff that I have nearly run out off.

Today I used up a sample of Dove's burst showergel with nectarine and white ginger. I liked this one but still have a few more showergels to use up. Now using a shower gel from Cowshed that was a sample from a magazine last year.

Yesterday I managed to swap an old mascara in Debenhams, I got the lenghtening one. Hope you all manage to get one!

    Good luck to you all.
No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
    Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j

You are not the only one: I took a seemingly amazing amount of time to use up one cleanser, and I've got a toner that came in a bottle with a pump on which has meant that I don't use too much and has meant that it has lasted simply forever.

In future, whenever I want to buy piles of toiletries I'm going to stuck to the '1 in use, 2 in the storecupboard' philosophy.

Tonight we have UU the last of the Alberto Balsam conditioner and a sample of Lore*l red conditioner (for dyed hair). WIBA?: AB yep cheap and chearful and does the job. Lore*l? No, it was horrid and DD couldn't get it out of her hair so she had to wash it again.
Before I buy the AB conditioner again though, I will try out the 24p cheapo jobby from Asda that someone else mentioned. We only need it for nit coming so don't need anything too special :).
