not nice that your mum keep's slipping down the bed.£71.93/ £180.000 -
Just texted you SW
It is funny isn't it, how a chance post on a thread can lead to such great friendships :j :j I had advised someone on their thread and then SW caught the thread and started posting, and then we met up to visit the person from the thread in hospital when she broke her hip - Mr 3Dogs came with me too, so he met SW at the same time ..................... and the rest is history :j :j :j :j I took it upon myself to text her every night when I realised what a difference it made
I love you very much. I cannot imagine my life without you guys now. It is so wierd. Mum, dad, my sister, erica, janet, glenys everyone asks about you guys now.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
the dietician was quite good during todays visit, she often has trainees in with her though and they sort of use me like a guinea pig (which i dont mind cos i suppose thay have to train) but some of the trainees, well they do come out with some stupid comment sometimes!0

I think its great that some of you have met up.
3dogs it must be stressful seeing your mum like that. Not everybody would be able to do what youre doing. I hope she has some better days ahead. Hope you can stay strong.0 -
Glad the dietician is nice. I would ask your GP if there is a group you can join where you will feel more comfortable. Mind you most of the men i know would be pretty comfortable being surrounded by women.
How far are you walking outside in a day? do you have a pedometer? can you use a trampoline? it takes the pressure of your knees. There are some really good walking to health groups run by volunteers where you can walk for one hour a day for free with nice people and a knowledgeable volunteer. Your GP should be able to tell you about the scheme. It is fun and a good way to meet new people.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

I certanly can't do it without the group - I need the fact that I am weighing in every week, having to report to someone and getting and giving support and advice from other members as well as from the consultant. The best advice would be to eat normal healthy meals consisting of meat/chicken/fish with potatoes/rice/pasta and plenty of non-starchy veg and make sure that all fat is removed from any meats and you do not cook in oilI'm back, got distrackted by the Groucery challange,

Beanie i think some people are nasty and there is no need for it at all. I get laughed at at work they think it is funny i have to do blood tests - and that is the staff! When they have a bad night they think it is a big deal - we have that everyday. Wierd isn't it? still i am glad i am me. I think it makes me more understanding.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
