I think i FINALLY have a date for my operation!!! It must have been talking to TED about it last night that did it! They left a message for me to ring them back, but they obviously go home at 5So tomorrow it is.
I had a lovely time here today http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whitstable One of my favourite places ever! We had some scones and pottered around for a bit. Good times
Right, i desperatly need to job hunt this evening. I need to buy a copy of Word (so pooing expensive)I need to make my cv look better and now i can't edit anything on it so needs must i suppose.
Aesop: Congrats on your win!!! Have fun with all those firemen. I trust they will be half naked, ripped and covered in water?0 -
Careful with that fireman's hose!!.
My 18 year old son just asked what I was chuckling about, so I told him what Aesop had posted, then what my reply (above) was.
His response - "yeah, they can be powerful". Obviously not on my wavelength yet.
:rotfl::rotfl:I nearly posted a near knuckle comment on netmums, and thought I better not! will get knuckles rapped and comment deleted!
Last year when our local Fish and Chip Shop set on fire, I was walking down to it to order fish and chips. After phoning DH to see if he wanted KFC instead, got the order and went back and stood outside the chip shop watching the firemen at work....
Got home, DH said.... "you were stood there watching the firemen weren't you! " had to admit it.....:o0 -
Cant you get Word at a cheaper price if you are a student? I dont know how our college gave out paperwork for this about two years ago I dont know if the scheme is still running.
I might come down here more often and escape from my office. I have the illusion that i have escaped from work. I heard you talk about an op before. I hope it is not a serious one. You look so well.
PS dont write anything that will reveal your identity ok 'cos ya dont know who is reading.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

The Big Fat Truth About Low Fat Foods
Thursday 17 February
8:00pm - 9:00pm
BBC3
Former Blue Peter presenter Zoe Salmon investigates the low-fat food industry, spending four weeks eating reduced-calorie ready meals. She discovers what is in them, whether they affect her moods and her weight, and how nutritional they are. She also meets the low calorie converts who see the dishes as not just a diet, but a way of life."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
