oh yes i remember blakes seven :-) i was a nipper but it was scary.

slave the ships computer that wouldnt do as he was told, orax that plastic box that was full of christmas tree lights... and servalon ! wher did she get that bondage gear !!!

The ship's computer was 'Zen'. If they do remake Blakes 7, let's hope it is not done by the BBC. Their Sci-Fi stuff is a complete load of tripe. Special effects were (and if Outcasts is anything to go by, still are) a complete mystery to the Beeb.

3Dogs, those dongles can be a nightmare. I used to use one when round my parents, but the only way to get a good signal was to plug it into a long USB cable, run it out the window and hang it on a tree branch. Got some odd looks from their neighbours though.

Thanks Puds - and I agree with what you say about BBC special effects Patman - though in the old series, that was their charm ;);) - some of the special effects on the US series on Sky One, have been brilliant though

Definitely off to bed now ................................................... :p

I don't like special effects really....i love older films for their simplicity.

Probably why i hate sci-fi...its too unrealistic!
