My best friend is going travelling this summer and all in all i feel that life is passing me by and everyone is moving forward while i'm in the EXACT same position, if not behind, to what i was this time last year.
Ha, so as you can see its all pretty trivial...i'm lucky to be alive and healthy with good friends and at least i have a job! Plus i don't want to sound like someone i know on this whole moneysaving world where they drone on and looking for sympathy. I'm not. I know things will improve, i just need to be positive and try harder to change my position, and do the best with what i have!
P.S I never win at the casino either.
I am trying to think of something wise to write like Kit would.
My mind must be on go slow.
Is there anything stopping you achieving your goals? Anything you can change that will release the momentum, to set you on your way?0 -

see if you can borrow one from the library. This man is amazing.
I used to use mind maps in my old job to achieve things, especially when I was running the sports and social club at work. We were self funding and had to think of ways to keep members happy, activities they would enjoy and fundraising. must admit we had a great time. I miss that place for the social activities.0 -
Yes, i wish i could go back 10 years and make better choices with my education!! I wish i had seeked advice on my career in my late teens and not float along only thinking of today. I'm sure i'm not the only one who shares that thought (hopefully). I am applying for other jobs so fingers crossed something will come of that, and i shall ignore every voice in my head that says i'm not good enough for it.
Thanks guys for a little listenmy friend started all of this off!! I was ok untill i had a go at her about being miserable with her life!! Ha (if she could hear me now!)

I do hope you can find what you are looking for Vix - sometimes, you just have to sit back and wait, and at other times, you have to make your own breaks - only you can tell what your position is, but, with other irons in the fire, I am sure that something will turn up
But, it's time to put aside the 'not good enough' feelings and think positively about yourself - it really will make a difference as will looking forward instead of backwardsMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

I might give the library a go. I haven't been in one since i forgot to return some books in 1993. Will they remember this? I'd probably be facing a hefty fine for 18 years worth of late charges
I will just say i was 7 at the time, i still have the books (caring for your guinea pig, an epilepsy book and a wheres wally) so that makes it better that i still have them and i couldn't have got into town at the age of 7 on my own and i've pretty much lived with the guilt ever since.
Perhaps i'll pay it a visit! Thanks Aesop0 -
I say this to everyone, but have you tried doing some charity work? It looks good on your CV, but this is not why I recommend it. Doing something for nothing gives you a different perspective on life.
Or how about these people?

take them with you and ask for an amnesty. You never know your parents may have paid any fines.0 -
