    Hi all :-)

Sorry beanie cant add any advice re your computer problem that hasnt already been said.

I guess hantsindebt is andy and he works for tesco? the (public) Mr T cafe used to be good when they were run by tesco (for almost a year i walked the 3 mile round trip to our local store more or less every morning simply to have breakfast then walked back after - it was meant to be my exercise for the day!)
Most cafes were then taken over by Eurest and the drop in standards was MASSIVE ... poor food and poor service and poor cleanliness (Eurest also do the cafes in asda as well) I noticed recently that costa coffee have taken over in some stores, ok its good quality and its clean but they dont half charge over the odds, i definitely couldnt afford to pay their prices on a regular basis.

Evening Puddings - how has your day been?

The only thing about A$da cafe's is that they do top-up coffees which is good - though not use them myself

It's funny, in't it, how a simple comment gets you thinking and I've just realised just how much we used to spend in supemarket cafes - and it's frightening:eek:  OK we restrict it to our cofee's at the car boot cafe now, but most of those, plus what we eat there, are covered by Mr 3Dogs from his car boot takings

our local asda cafe stopped doing free top ups quite a while ago - they replaced it with a loyalty card i think

would never eat food from eurest so on a sunday theres a gang of us that drive to our nearest sainsburys - which is a 20 mile trip - have breakfast together in their cafe which can be a lot of fun (and the foods really good quality and not badly priced) then on the drive back from there we call into asda and do the weeks shopping. (I even take the old lady next door cos she doesnt get out much otherwise and it gives her a chance to go shop without needing taxis etc)

I didn 't know that A$da had stopped the extra coffee now, as I say, we never use them

Your Sunday morning group breakfast and shopping sounds fun Puddings, and that's nice of you to take your elderly neighbour - I bet she appreciates that :T :T I love you way you eat at Sainsb but shop at A$da :rotfl: :rotfl:

    shop at sainsburys! me?
    im not made of money!

Hi SW - whats with the lost voice - are you getting manflu? I hope not.
    manflu.jpg

I help my neighbour out whenever i can, but it works both ways. I had no water for 10 days over christmas and i was in her house filling bottles twice a day. Not many neighbours would tolerate such constant interruption to their life and so was very thankful to her for it. She may be 75 but she has a good sense of humour and always has a good laugh with us - even when she is the butt of our jokes. Anyway I cant stand selfish people and taking her shopping once a week isnt exactly difficult really is it!
"Secret santa" got her a pair of mens underpants that you put in the microwave and then rub to keep your hands warm :-)
