Btw the twitchers were out today looking for the Eagle in our village.
Not again. Are they mad? when i stopped jogging i thought everyone that jogged was mad. I used to be so tempted to open windows as i passed by in a taxi and say to them - young man/lady are you mad?????

I need some advice. I have some lovely dresses - silk, satin etc that need ironing. They got creased in garage and i have unpacked them this week. Can i iron them myself or do they have to be drycleaned first They are all clean a couple are brand new? (I always used to dryclean after wearing them. Old me. Am trying to be MSE and save a bit of money now).
You need a steamer Kit - not a steam iron, a thing that shoots steam at them to bring creases out and freshen them up. We have one on a stand (which I still don't use) and a portable travel one (which I used on holiday) - I'll bring the portable one down when we come to visit and you can try it on them - we could even teach Steve and Andy how to use it and they would wizz through all your dry cleaning and ironing :rotfl: :rotfl:Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

so is this a lonely bachelor or spinster eagle - without a mate? Couldn't you enrol it with a dating agency to help it find a mate and it could move in with them, somewhere else of courseMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Oh funny story from my train journey today - well not so funny actually!!
On the way up, a black coffee on the train was £1.70, so I had £1.70 ready for when the guy came round with the trolley today - when he eventually came (one and a half hours into my 2 hour 10 min journey) I asked for my black coffee and said '£1.70 isn't it? I've got the right money ready' to which he replied 'No, it's £1.90 now, VAT increase you know'
Now, to my knowledge, VAT went up from 17.5% to 20%, so 20p extra on a £1.70 cup of coffee - err, I don't think that's right, is it?
P.S. my brother had given me some change to get a drink and something to eat, or I would not have bought it!!!!!Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12
