  • It says they will post for free but how will they knock the £1000 off the bill?

The fact that the seller has 0 feedback would put me off anyway.
Maybe it's me being cynical but I'm wary of buying vouchers of ebay.
Even though she has the receipt it could have been purchased with a stolen c/c and the buyer would be none the wiser. Of course I am not saying that this is the case in this instance, but if a buyer does purchase vouchers bought fraudently they will find they are useless.
Companies keep a record of the serial numbers of such vouchers.
Of course I am not saying that this is the case in this instance.

  • mmm, it looks like they've simply made a mistake with the P&P but I'd be a bit wary of bidding on it, after all the winner is 'agreeing' to pay £1000,00 P&P.

Maybe the bidders have emailed the seller about it and had assurance that it's just a mistake and they won't have to pay it? If the item already had a bid the seller wouldn't have been able to change the listing.

I wouldn't bid and I think the seller may have shot themselves in the foot because other people will be put off too and it probably won't make as much as it could..

  • The thing is though he could say oh yeh it's free postage and when it ends he could file a claim

If you're local to Wakefield then cash on collection...

Otherwise I'd steer clear as they are newly registered to eBay and have no feedback , which are the classic signs of a scam...

it says its an unwanted wedding gift yet there is a receipt - would you give a wedding present of vouchers to someone and give them the receipt?

(what i mean is - i know sometimes if you buy a present you might include the receipt so they can change it if they dont like it, but with vouchers, they can choose whatever they want anyway)

seems slightly suss. i've put it in my watched items though cos i'm curious now!
  • Also ...I am sure House of Fraser sell loads of baby stuff! Just seems a bit fishy ...I totally agree that no-one would give a receipt with the vouchers (this would also indicate that the £1000 of vouchers had been bought at the same time:confused: )unless it was a wedding list and everyone chipped in so much. Either way ...its a bit odd, and very ungrateful!!
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)
  • Has anyone reported it on here it has been removed?

It appears to have been removed by eBay.
