No. With Quidco, you pay for goods or services as per usual. Cashback takes a while - often up to 3 months - to be put into your account.

So you spend £100 in M&S, for example, through the Quidco website. The Quidco site then registers that you have done that, and says that your cashback of £6 (for example) is 'tracking'. M&S then confirm with Quidco that you have paid, and your cashback changes from 'tracking' to 'validated'.

It will then take M&S some time to actually send the money to the Quidco website, then your cashback changes from 'validated' to 'received'.

You have to register your own bank details with Quidco, and when they pay the money into your account, your cashback changes from 'received' to 'paid'.

What you have to remember is that cashback is a privilege, never, EVER a given. Don't rely on it, as technical things can mean it doesn't register, or a company refuse to pay. It doesn't happen very often - and you can contest it. But ultimately cashback is never a certainty.

    I hope this helps. :)

Sorry if i appear stupid :( but if i sign up to weight watchers online with quidco and get the cashback does that mean i pay nothing to join & do we get the actual cash back i have signed up but never used it before xx

You pay the fee to join, and you hopefully get the cash back in your quidco account to withdraw.

Think of the cashback as a bonus rather than a definite though - you never know if or when these cashback sites will have trouble!

Mine doesn't seem to have tracked. I don't really mind as I was going to sign up anyway but still really annoying as I could have had the first three months for free.

Joined on the 4th and nothing shows up in my Quidco account. Can I still send an enquiry even though I never got a tracking confirmation email?

  • WHSmith is selling two types of HB copies of WW recipe books for £5.99 each 'reduced' from £20.
They both have more than 150 recipes and are using the new propoints too.
A bargain compared to the prices they charge for recipe books in meetings.

has anyone got one and are they practical recipes??
