New Year Weight Watchers for free with Quidco

I signed up for online in November and the £30 cashback tracked within days and was paid yesterday.
The only problem I had was with WW themselves. Although I cancelled in good time they still took the second month subscription. They seem to be overwhelmed with queries about the new programme and are not quick to answer emails. I had paid by paypal so I made a chargeback which was awarded to me after WW failed to respond even to Paypal.
I wouldn't recommend the online service for anything but the free trial. The online resources and info are good and worth printing off, but the service is non-existent if you have queries about the programme etc.
I agree with the above poster that classes are very good, and if you go online you can now print off a voucher to get membership plus your first class free.0 -
You can "join" this way, and go to meetings I believe. DGMember #8 of the SKI-ers Club
Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
All diets are based on calories, they just call them points etc but it all still goes back to calories. I lost 5 stones and all I did was use a food diary, I wrote down everything I ate and stuck to 1500cals a day. as for exercise I went for a 30 minute walk daily (on the treadmill, if the weather was bad) much cheaper than diet clubs. There's loads of free forums online for people to get support from other dieters.
Good luck with your weight loss0 -

There is also a voucher for free registration and free first meeting in the WW magazine that I picked up the other day. Thought it would be a good way to start to get my head around the propoints system.0

WHSmith is selling two types of HB copies of WW recipe books for £5.99 each 'reduced' from £20.
They both have more than 150 recipes and are using the new propoints too.
A bargain compared to the prices they charge for recipe books in meetings.Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

Note the wording: "They need to have entered our recurring billing system successfully and become paying subscribers".
In other words, as I read it, you will have to allow at least one month's payment to go from your account to get the cashback but this is still a good offer if you like the online plan.
Yep, the full wording:
*Qualified means that the subscriber's credit card subscription has been approved (i.e. no cancellation of free trial, no insufficient funds or expired credit card). They need to have entered our recurring billing system successfully and become paying subscribers."
Obviously had enough of MSE members last year just joining and cancelling straight away, this year they want their moneys worth!0 -

Hi, does anyone know how long it takes Quidco to track this? I joined through the link on 1st Jan and paid the £29.95 on my debit card but it ain't showing on my Quidco account yet.
I was joining anyway but would be nice to get the £30 back!!Working hard to to pay off the mortgage within 5 years instead of 9 by considering every penny spent. Aiming to go part time the and enjoy a simple life with simple pleasures!0 -

No. With Quidco, you pay for goods or services as per usual. Cashback takes a while - often up to 3 months - to be put into your account.
So you spend £100 in M&S, for example, through the Quidco website. The Quidco site then registers that you have done that, and says that your cashback of £6 (for example) is 'tracking'. M&S then confirm with Quidco that you have paid, and your cashback changes from 'tracking' to 'validated'.
It will then take M&S some time to actually send the money to the Quidco website, then your cashback changes from 'validated' to 'received'.
You have to register your own bank details with Quidco, and when they pay the money into your account, your cashback changes from 'received' to 'paid'.
What you have to remember is that cashback is a privilege, never, EVER a given. Don't rely on it, as technical things can mean it doesn't register, or a company refuse to pay. It doesn't happen very often - and you can contest it. But ultimately cashback is never a certainty.
I hope this helps.
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0
