New metro bank account faster payment

Hi all,

Haven't posted here for ages.

Just opened a Metro Bank account, the service was great, got a brand new card here and there just after I open it, which other bank can offer service like that?

Anyways, I transfered £100 just to find out if the bank supports Faster Payment from my Halifax account, which from Halifax side, the money went out straight away and I got a email say it's been received also showed on my online banking statement, but it still doesn't show on the Metro Bank account. When I transfer from Halifax to Nationwide before, the money show up straight away?

I am wondering, if the money went into the cloud or their Online Banking is just not up to scratch yet? Does anyone have any experience with these?

hmm they told me they don't support FPS
although great service opened mine too a few days ago mastercard dc and online banking which seems to update fast

Their sort codes accept incoming FPs. They don't send (yet).

Thanks got the money and used the card already... Shame on some online retailer they need to update their card service to recognise the new cards, it's really easy just replace a file....
