Just got a groupon deal, so no NSD for me today! On 2/10 there is still time though!
The deal was sensible, and I did think about it - £19 for a hair cut, conditioning treatment and finish, valid until the end of march and I need a haircut mid-february (it will have been 3 months, any longer and I really do start to look like a spaniel :rotfl:). AND have budgeted £10 per month for haircuts, and have them every 3 months, therefore I have saved £11 from the budget! (Lets not think about the fact I want highlights for winter shall we? :rotfl:)
Hi Lotti - I'm curious to know what a groupon deal is!
As predicted, not a NSD as I went to Tesc0 for a little shop. Well and truly stocked up, despite not spending too much today. OH feeling a bit carp today so we will be staying in for the rest of the day.:) No more spends!

Hope that helps

Hi Lotti - I'm curious to know what a groupon deal is!
Groupon is a site which you can sign up to, they do offers and vouchers for things in your city (there are a selection of cities, I do Newcastle as it's my nearest). They send regular emails with deals - massively reduced haircuts, days out, beauty treatments, meals out etc, and you buy the voucher from them and off you go! My last one was £14 for a hair cut, condition and finish that should have cost £47, and this one is £19 for the same process (different salon) that should apparently cost £64. Still worth it even if the saving is a bit inflated (as I suspect it probably is...) as just a plain cut and blow dry is usually about £25-£30 I find!
I can send you a link if you're interested?“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”
