Well sadly I think I'm in line for the kipper ashamed0001.gif although please may I request river cobber instead as it is a nice cheap cut of fish and I suspect the kipper may be verging on the slimey side sick0025.gif. Still stuck on 1 NSD with no signs of another any time soon (ok not strictly true as I think tomorrow should be one). Managed one on the 1st but the 2nd was a trip to Mr T and L1dl then yesterday was meant to be a spendy day getting a pressie for my mum's birthday but half the shops were closed and I bummed out sad0048.gif then if that wasnt bad enough I realised at dinner time last night that I didnt have enough milk or bread for breakfast for this morning so ended up nipping to FF to grab some sad0020.gif. Need a good swift kick up the jaksie methinks!! Anyway it means that I NEED to find a pressie for my mum today so as it will be a spendy day I will check out the woopsies in Mr T when I head to work later and once I've given it even more thought (had it in my 3bay watch list for a few days while I mull it over) I might treat myself to the digital camera I would like (other one been playing up for a while and I'd like a new one before going on holiday in March).

SPOON - please make sure your taking it easy there are loads of new people which is great but makes it much more work for you. I echo everyone elses ideas for us keeping our own tally in sig, posting in red and and maybe only 1 or 2 updates a week...............please take care of yourself

  • Hi lovely NSD gang:A
As you can see there is lots of activity on this thread at the moment and it's difficult sometimes to see how many NSDs you're all declaring on posts.

Could I ask you to highlight your number of NSDs in a colour and in bold so that I can see them easily when I whizz through the posts - red would be best but I don't really mind as long as I can see the numbers easily.

    Thanks everyone:A

    Good idea Spoon!

On that note - yesterday took me up to NSD number 3 - yay!

Unfortunately, the cupboards are bare, so today will be a definite spend day with a food shop.

Have a good day everyone, and good luck collecting NSDs!

    Good morning all

A bit later today as I'm back at work. A bit of a shock to the system! It's actually quite nice to get back into a routine:)

Should be a NSD today as I've got my lunch with me and my fares are stashed away in my purse.;)

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

  • Hello everyone,

After lurking on here for a while, I thought it was about time I joined you all!

I have large credit card debts and since we heard just before christmas that my husband is to be made redundant, I really need to cut back on spending.
My first plan is to do online food shopping as often as I can afford, which will stop me venturing into our local Mr S 4 or more times a week- it's surprising what you can find that you 'need' when you wander around a supermarket!;)
If I don't need to food shop, I then won't be tempted into the other shops, so a good few NSDs ought to be possible!
This month is also particularly bad money-wise since I have to pay for all of my son's clubs for this term- swimming, tennis, basketball, multisport, and his new guitar lessons:eek:. Oh, and my choir membership for this term, which I can pay by cc if things really get tough!!

I THINK I have had one NSD so far (Sunday), and am hopeful for today.

All in all, I think 10 NSDs seems a good number to aim for.
