just a thought
i had a leak under the sink that happened suddenly
i had no problem locating the water that poured out of the cracked pipe while i stood in 1cm deep water!
hope you track it down soon
I think I'm gonna have to do something like that - i currently have some cloth wrapped round the pipes just to dry them off. I have my suspicions about the washing machine, so next time I do a wash I'll have my head stuck in the cupboard to see if it is the inlet pipe - I thought it had a drip earlier and I did tighten the connection so it might have been that.
sorry about the cracked pipe you had - good job you did have ducks swimming round your feet too!Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

kerri
I've also had a washing machine pipe leak
In fact I had 3 leaks within 6 months of moving in to my new home!
Worse thing about the machine was that you couldn;t see. I thought I heard water one day and thought 'nah'
later that day i realised I COULD hear water when i went into kitchen and stood in water seeping up through the tiled floor!!!
it was gushing from the y joint that hadn't been properly fitted & was a nightmare to get to - another occasion that called for ducks :rotfl:
PS: I discovered last week that i now have a cracked cistern in my downstairs loo. so that is leak 4. I know I'm a bit of a water babe, but this takes the biscuit. Not having much fun!
Hope you find the exact source soon and it's not too tricky to fix.0 -
