Can anyone give me any information on this subwoofer?

It doesn't have a make or model no. on it.
I'm not sure what it plugs into since the only lead attached to it looks like this:

Any info / websites would be appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks. There aren't any connections on the back of it.

The holes just contain springs or screws:
Anyone recongise it & can tell me the make of it?0 -
Don't know about make but I'd put good money on it being out of a car.
What do you need to know? The impedance you’ll be able to measure and the power handling capacity will probably be on the drive unit if you dismantle it and look.0 -
I'd put money on it being from an old CRT television set.0

What size is the speaker grille? Doesn't look any more than 6 inches or so, in which case - it won't woof much.0

Would the subwoofer cable plug directly into the TV?0 -
It looks like a speaker cable attached to the the plug you've shown, so looks as though if you have a speaker output for a sub on your TV, it may work.
Whether it's worth doing is another matter.....0 -

It's unlikely your tele will have anything like that. You would need an amp fed by SPDif or whatever from your tele to process a signal for [ active-powered or otherwise ] a subwoofer. Cars generally are the only things with woofers that small.
Put a carp amp fed signal into that plastic case and it will sound carp, put a half decent amp into that plastic case and it will sound carp for about three minutes which is the length of time it will take to vibrate the case to smithereens.
In short you cant just plug that speaker into anything and expect it to work, if it is a subwoofer its designed to work in a specific hertz (Hz) range.
