Morning all, just been to Mr T's and was really disappointed. My tesco's must be the stingiest around because we never have any decent yellow stickered items and if they do it is never more than 25% so came back with nothing for the craft box. I am going to scour the computer and print out some different pictures of their favourite characters to colour in.
Don't have a Wilkinson's or Poundland/shops where I am but I am off out tomorrow where they have a Wilko's and will have a look in there.

I thought this looked fun from The Works, especially as it comes with pens. I might even buy one each as ds likes making his own stories and comics and wouldn't want his sister ruining it!0 -
My little girl has a box which is actually a fairly tough shoe box that some boots of hers came in, covered with silver wrapping paper with stars on. The year that I did it for her someone else gave hr an expensive art box which she opened first. I was cringeing about what she would make of my homemade effort but she prefers it - it looks prettier!
Don't forget to put plenty of pritt sticks (or cheaper alternative) in - my daughter hasn't quite got the hang of them and goes through them quite quickly.
I've always found elc quite good for craft stuff - sheets of googly eyes, bags of feathers etc.0 -
Baker Ross have a sale on at the moment if you want some different ideas. They aren't as cheap as the pound shop but there are some big bargains and they're great quality.
They've also got some nice Christmas related crafts.:smileyhea0 -

Do you have any friends who sew or knit, and could give you some offcuts/leftovers?
It was a couple of weeks ago, but the Works here had scissors that cut different decorative edges.0
