Computer problems...Desktops /laptop.....techy problems

Hi All

would appreciate help

I have the following problems

desktop 1 runs xp home
alll exe files have turned Lnk



Except for mozilla

desktop 2

runs
xp professional

connected to lan
but cannot connect to internet

tried wireless (I run my own business use bt business hub) using a wireless usb stick....but keeps defaulting to BT open zone wireless?!!)

laptop

acer travelmate 5320

runs windows vista grrr!!


problem

cannot launch programmes/internet

keeps launching

launch start up repair

then after a few mins

says startup repair cannot repair this computer automatically

look at problem signature details

and thats where it loses me

Now if anyone helps.....and it rectifys all problems

I downloaded malwarebytes scan tool this morning for desktop ...but cannot open it even in mozilla

Trying to get into cpanel on desktop right click twice as need to remove winzip to get another free trial...but cannot even open add or remove...this is desktop one...oh and prevx is running on this machine full version

unless your file associations are completely messed up, right click on the zip file and extract should work

winzip usually works after a delay?

hi closed...I was using a free trial of winzip...now I need to delete to get another free trial...but go to add or remove cannot open in cpanel...is there another way to open ...carrying out ipcconfig search on other desktop

save the above as a .reg file, then double click on it.

correct the spaces in it, mse messes it up

PropertySheetHan dlers should be PropertySheetHandlers

Can the other machine get to http://10.0.03.254

ie your router config page (presumably)

any software firewalls installed, which antivirus? What are the settings in ie, tools, internet options, connections, lan settings. post a hijackthis log
