Bought car engine, nightmare -anyone know about cars?

I can't open a case with ebay as 45 days have gone - most of those we were waiting for the engine to arrive:(

Unfortunately your only hope now would be small claims

sounds to me like the seller deliberelty delayed sending it so that you could do an item not as received through ebay/paypal

as soolin says now you will need to go to small claims with all your evidience

If going the small claims route I assume it is also okay to ask for your out of pocket expenses like the garage costs.

What car and what engine? Wont run? immobiliser issues maybe?

Youc an even claim back the costs of the court. However do take advice about it as even winning in small claims does not guarantee you your money back as you'd need to chase the seller for that seperately if he is un co operative.
