    Our Tesco has the magnetic strip in the pavement around the perimeter so we don't lose any trollies there :)

    yes most trolleys will have a lock on the wheels as well as a coin operation on them to stop the kids taking them away to play with them

    The Sainsburys we have here in Central London don't have the "insert coin before use" system. I guess people here are more obedient when it comes to trolleys than in the local towns such as poppycats lol.

    my local morrisons store doesnt accept my trolley coin but takes ordinary pound coins, wonder how they know

    Lots of charities do them - we've got one supporting a local hospice, one for St John Ambulance and one for, I think, Macmillan.
