Forget losing a pound - my dad used to lend me his chain cutters! Ah the memories, pushing a train of around 50 trolleys into the canal ;):D !

    ROFL! :D

Our Tesco has the magnetic strip in the pavement around the perimeter so we don't lose any trollies there :)
Has this post helped ya? Be a dude and hit thanks :D Thank you :)
  • yes most trolleys will have a lock on the wheels as well as a coin operation on them to stop the kids taking them away to play with them

  • The Sainsburys we have here in Central London don't have the "insert coin before use" system. I guess people here are more obedient when it comes to trolleys than in the local towns such as poppycats lol.
  • my local morrisons store doesnt accept my trolley coin but takes ordinary pound coins, wonder how they know

Personally I think trolleys are a very reasonably priced gift for kids at £1.......

    Hehehehehe! Just kidding!
Life in this world is, as it were, a sojourn in a cave. What can we know of reality? For all we can see of the true nature of existence is, shall we say, no more than bewildering and amusing shadows cast upon the inner wall of the cave by the unseen blinding light of absolute truth, from which we may or may not deduce some glimmer of veracity, and we as troglodyte seekers of wisdom can only lift our voices to the unseen and say humbly "Go on, do deformed rabbit again.....it's my favourite". © Terry Pratchett in "Small Gods"

Lots of charities do them - we've got one supporting a local hospice, one for St John Ambulance and one for, I think, Macmillan.
