If you mean without the standard BT line then yes, you can get cable broadband but it's depending on availability in your area. Or even satellite internet connection."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

you could also get a wireless network card and try to tap into unsecure wireless networks from your neighbours. i know a few people who get free internet access this way!0

You can use a datacard which uses the mobile phone network to connect to the internet, but I imagine this would be quite expensive.

some areas have their exchanges updated for wireless network capabilities - i imagine this would end up dearer than getting a phone line though.
check https://www.samknows.com/broadband to see what is available in your area.
As others have said though - cable or wireless hitchhiking are your only other options.0 -
check out "now broadband" to see if that's available in your area. Sounds like what you're after:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood :dance:0

Don't think this forum is intended for recommending illegal suggestions.

It is possible to get a phoneline installed that cant be used for incoming or outgoing calls it can then be used for an ADSL connection. It is usually a business connection that this is an option for and the ISP provides the line as part of the monthly ISB charge.
using someone elses connection via wireless is illegal so dont even go down that route.0 -

Using someone elses connection via wireless without permission is illegal. However, if an obliging neighbour was willing to share the connection and costs, that would be an entirely different matter.Little_John wrote:using someone elses connection via wireless is illegal so dont even go down that route. There's love in this world for everyone.
