Installing fonts in Windows7

I have a new laptop and I've downloaded some Christopher Jarman fonts that I've been using for several years with my dyspraxic son. I had no problem with installing them on my old PC which ran on XP - but I can't for the life of me work out what I need to do on my laptop as the instructions provided don't seem to apply and the Windows7 'help' doesn't make it any clearer. Can anyone help?

The fonts are from HERE
Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan
48 down, 22 to go
Low carb, low oxalate Primal + dairy
From size 24 to 16 and now stuck...

Yep, unfortunately that doesn't help as I don't get an option to install. There is no file menu and if I double click it doesn't recognise the file type and asks which program I want to use to open it. Thank you for trying.

You need to download the PC true type fonts, NOT any of the others they wont work.

The fonts may have come in a .zip file.

Open the .zip file, select-and-copy the .ttf font inside it.

Paste the .ttf file onto your desktop.

Right-click on the .tff file and 'install font'

I've found that even the dotty version is quite heavy in Word so I change the font colour to about 60% grey.

If you make the text large enough and turn on Word's drawing toolbar you can draw guidelines too.

Yep, exactly what I do, and we've gradually reduced the size as his motor skills improve - I love how flexible it is compared to the 'handwriting' books we had when I was young.
