I just put out 52 books, if I get no orders I may cry!

I have a bit of a dilemma though 'cause as I said, I had put books out in a road that I thought was allocated to me but is actually someone elses...and I got an order. It was last minute so I put it through but now I feel like I should get in touch with the other rep and 'give' her the customer but I don't know where to start.

I do the same thing with my books,the people that order always get the current book and I use the previous one to recanvass or find new customers.That way if they don`t give them back at least I don`t loose anything. Also, on the top of the leaflet that says when I will be back to pick up the book I got my husband to print a note that says- Please,leave the book outside as I have to pay for it,Thank you.In the beggining I was loosing almost all my books because nobody was giving them back.As I mentioned before my streets are rubbish,but the message seems to help.
I was delivering orders tonight and for the first time decided to try the Police station on my road.I walked right in there imagining what I am going to say to some big and scary policeman and then a young,blonde girl showed up.I was so surprised that just said -Oh,I am your local Avon rep.Can I leave you a book?She looked happy and I was relieved I did it.Hope it works...

Claree,I have 4 regular customers from someone else`s road and the rep actually lives on that road.I spoke to my AM and she said there is nothing to be done-if they order from me,than I keep them,but don`t go to the rest of her road.

Mine's fine; check your settings under User CP - it may be that you need to adjust what time zone you're in.

Mistakes happen. Sounds like the rep whose territory it is wasn't covering it effectively (otherwise chances are the customer would've mentioned it to you) so you've picked up a new F&F customer now, which you're entitled to keep.

On the other hand if you pick up another rep's book with an order in then that's a different matter; in that case it's only fair to email or call the other rep and explain that you picked it up in error. The rep should appreciate your honesty and you never know.... you could make a new friend! :T

Well I put 112 books out to houses (plus a few in work) and I'm now down by 34 so not that bad this time. But its taken a lot of door knocking - 4 hours today I've been out collecting books and just spent another hour going through all the books! Doing an extra road has doubled my collecting time, I dread to think what it'll do when I include the next two roads which are more terraced houses I've still only covered 187 of my 460 allocated properties (I found the email with my territory on it)

I'm so glad you said that! I didn't want to look like one of those reps everyone hates haha! It's definately my book so I guess I get to 'keep' her!

Do you put your name on the back of each book, or just include the order form?

Well after placing my order’s last night, I managed to make a whopping £4.26!! Lol

But I offered special’s to my customers which I had to buy, also I had to pay £7.50 & get some new books ect..

But I must say I’m really happy.

I think I was lucky with C10 - C11 for me I already know will be slow.

I currently share the road with my SL, during last week she said to me if I manage to work this road (Many rep‘s haven‘t been able too) She would give me the remaining part of the road, Totalling 300 homes.

Last night when she was here, I dropped the hint about having more - She’s told me I cant until I have paid my £15 in full??
