Power was cut off and now no heat - help!

I live in a one-bedroom flat with three Economy 7 storage heaters. We have a prepayment meter with Scottish Power. I went away for a few days at Christmas and when I got back our meter was empty (boyfriend forgot to top it up and then went to work and supply was cut off during the day) and the lights wouldn't switch on etc. This was late afternoon on 28th Dec. I immediately went to the shop and topped it up and the lights came back on, all electricity back to normal. However, now it seems that the power being cut off has affected the storage heaters. That night I put on the one for the living room so we could get heat the next day, and the next day there was no heat, and last night I put on the one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom (which has recently been serviced/fixed) and no heat from either this morning. The bedroom one usually gets very hot in the morning. Could it be that the switch for the heaters was turned off when the supply was cut off? I considered calling Scottish Power but I doubt they'd be able to help. It just seems a coincidence as boyfriend said heating was fine before that. Any tips or advice much appreciated!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Storage heaters are usually on a separate timed circuit, you may have a mechanical clock or radio teleswitch to control them, also they would have their own circuit breaker, I'd check these. Then get on to your supplier.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
