That is a great site moneysavingkitten. I definitely am going to the carpet shop armed with a quote to see if they will match it. Mind you, even with £6.95 delivery charge, their prices are brilliant!

It's definitely worth a go :) Good luck, let us know how you get on :)
So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead

We recently got a couple of new carpets. We looked around lots of shops - both big chains and individual shops.

Definitely would not buy from the chains as most of the salesman I wouldn't trust at all, and their 'sales' are much like the perpetual sofa sales. I'd much rather just be given an actual price!

Anyhow, by chance, we had seen a carpet we liked in an independent shop, which was quite expensive, and then later saw it in a different shop for almost half the price. We were a little unsure, but went for it in the end.

The carpet was well fitted and we are very happy. So this has taught me, look everywhere to pick your carpet, then shop around to find where has it cheapest.

    Hi Rosie,

Have you had any luck? We are in the same situation as you, looking for a carpet in Luton. Google brings up a few places around Bury park that I may try and check this weekend.
