Best length of time for a featured Ebay auction??

What is the best length of time for a featured auction on Ebay??? Is it best to put it on for the longest amount of time seeing as you are paying so much extra???? And is it best for the auction to end at the weekend???

Any experiences or advice would be grately appreciated from this novice Ebayer.

Many thanks in advance.

Is it really worth putting it in as featured?

Most people don't pay that kind of money for listings.

In that case, I would go for the longest time possible, and time it to end perhaps on an weekend evening, say 9pm.

Personally, I wouldn't use it again. It hurts when you pay for it and don't get a single bid.

I use Featured for some digital memory cards I sell. Otherwise the listing gets lost amongst the thousands of others on there. I dont really get the benefit until the last day when sales rocket so for me there isnt any benefit from 7 or 10 days featured listings but there is overall.

However, if you are selling something that there are less of on eBay I would probably agree with Fay that a featured listing might not be worth it as people should find your listing anyway.
