Hi, I've just had a payment go into my bank for £75, it has my NI no. then DWP LCWP. I think it must be a cold weather payment, but where I live there has only been 3 triggers and I have already received what I thought was 1. That 1 was for £25 and had CD then 4 numbers 09DEC10. If this wasn't a CWP does anyone know what it might be and could save me a phone call:). Thanks.
p.s I receive IS, CA and CTC.
might CD mean cash deposit? not that I have paid any money in though so that would be weird!

well dwp is the department of work and pensions so i imagine it'll be a benefit payment of some sort? we've had a letter from tax credits saying that an amount will go into our bank sometime before the end of january that isn't the same amount as our normal payment. it's something to do with them updating their systems, but our payments between now and april will be slightly lower to account for this extra payment. i wonder if this is what your £75 is?

I received a CWP this morning and it says CWP next to the payment so it sounds like that's what the £75 is- no clue about CD sorry.

Someone should be along soon to help :)

Its a cold weather payment for the week of 09 December - you can check in the sticky at the top when your areas were triggered.
