Flexicare300 & annual servicing

Has anyone been able to get British Gas to fulfil the terms of their contract IN FULL? Boiler service fine but anything else had to be a callout because minor fault repair was refused (and hence £50 charge would apply)....ironically, the same engineer would come back and repair said fault! My understanding of my £15 per month agreement was that these repairs would be included. I was under the impression that the annual service included an overall system check not just boiler inspection....we have a leaking radiator that BG refused to fix during the service!! Is this right?

A leaking rad is clearly a fault and not a service issue, so surely the £50 excess will apply. And of course a pre-existing fault will not be covered.
But since there are 14pp of exclusions on this policy, your guess is as good as mine...
The whole thing is a complete waste of money, you are paying about £100pa on top of the price of an independent annual service from a local RGI. Put that in your savings account against the day that a call out is actually required. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
