I have no credit or debit cards other than a prepaid virtual Neo Mastercard and no bank account and need to send some money to a friend in China-a true friend not a scammer.I need to send roughly 500 American dollars and have English pounds to pay for the transaction. My friend can get a Mastercard payment processed through where he works as a transaction and I need to know the best method.I've considered using a prepaid card from The Post Office.I can't use a Ukash prepaid Neo Mastercard as it's only good for £100 at a time and they are a bit mean with the exchange rate when loading it with American Dollars.Could someone please suggest the best way to get the dollars to China without resorting to being mugged by Western Union.I really need a prepaid card that doesn't charge for overseas purchases and can be loaded here in London with cash for this "one off" situation while keeping the fees to an absolute minimum.Lastly I appologise in advance if I've posted this in the wrong forum section but it seemed the best option to me.Thanks a lot Michael

Why dont you sign up with EntroPay, They allow you to create virtual visa cards.
You just need to prove your ID, send driving licence/passport and prove your address.
Or you could use moneygram which is alot cheaper than WU.

Thanks for the advice pcombo,
I've had a look at Moneybookers website and they won't take a cash
deposit/credit at this end although their fees are only £5.61 to send it over to China.
To get a prepaid card with $500 loaded on it will cost me more than using Western Union as they will do a quick cash transfer for me and their charge of £19.61 is acceptable under the circumstances because I really need a quick method as my friend needs the money fast.0
