SICK of this - applied in good time, but because I was sent the wrong voucher (along with loads of others obviously), I've missed out.

Snap. To be honest I'm not particularly surprised; I've never had a single good experience with Play.com - even when I've had to pay for my DVDs!!

I did that but it does time out, luckily I still got what I wanted though.

I don't think they will, they certainley don't have to put more up, a free offer is a free offer, once it's over there's no obligation to extend it. The same goes for any freebies anywhere.
However, if The Independant want to keep a good name (I assume they have lol) then they should offer more. They may even instruct Play to offer some different titles to those that missed out can still get something.
As they are supposed to send all vouchers out in one go, then it is their fault and i believe they will have to put more up, i still havent received a correct code yet:o

Pretty much all dvd's now gone...

hmmmm...oh well.... guess my voucher will just be academic now...

Even though the dvds don't appear on http://www.play.com/independentworldcinema

I still remember a few of the dvds that were available there.

Just manually search for the title. For instance, "amelie" wasn't on the link anymore, I manually searched for it (cost £5.99) and added it to my basket and lo and behold £0! Out of stock though but I hope it will be dispatched.

Check it out they're saying Hotel Rwanda is still in stock

well I just spoke to them and their attitude seems to be it's on a first come frist serve basis... although the guy obviously didn't really know what to say and hadn't heard there was only a choice of 3 left. He said they *may* get some more in but he couldn't guarantee it...

Still no 2nd code for me either and hardly anything left to choose from(if anything as that was 10mins ago) so hopefully if it does come through they'll put some different titles up:)
