Of course, if you are in the situation where you have points that are coming off in the near future, you could always not reply to the NIP and get done for failing to provide information instead. Then the date of the offence would be a month or so later when your previous points would be taken off. However, I don't know if it's 3 or 6 points for failing to supply. If 6 then it wouldnt really be worthwhile (pepipoo would probably have the answer). Although tbh if you havent learnt your lesson after getting 9 points, then you're a very naughty boy </said in a Life of Brian impression type way>
