there are 100s of mortgage companies, no one is going to second guess this for you, only you can do the work here...
  • Pretty Please can someone guess.
  • I'd approve you, but my payment terms are not the best and my interest rate is sky high.

Brokers have a wage to earn and matching you to a lender on an internet site is probably not the best way for them to earn money. If you want the advice, go and pay for it!
  • I had an e-mail last week from a Nigerian banker who would also consider your loan request.
  • How high are your rates BadgerFace? I'm desperate so any idea would be great. Also, if you could post a copy of the email from the banker, that would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you are so desperate then go on to lender websites and apply for a 'Decison in Principle'

You seemingly do not want to wait for good advice so why not apply at random to lenders you think are the best for you.

At least you will have an answer.

Keep in mind up front fees, learn all criteria, check affordability, make sure follow on rates are not punitive etc etc.

Also keep in mind declined decisions will affect your credit scoring for the next lender so apply for the one most likely to approve you first.

  • Yes I will apply for a AIP this evening if you could just hazzard a guess at which company is most likely to approve me, based on the limited info you know.

If you had ONE MILLION POUNDS and you had to bet on one lender, who would you choose.
  • Oh dear, are you really going to trash your credit rating, just so you don't have to wait for another 9 hours, till a mortgage broker will talk to you?

If the answer is yes, then you are a total muppet.

If I HAD to bet on one lender, it would be the Nigerian banker, I have posted his details and the e-mail he sent below-

I am convinced you are a wind up merchant now.

I cannot guess without all information.

If you are genuine then you really need to ask are you ready to take on a huge commitment. You seem so flippant about it I seriously doubt you are.

You are not buying a pair of shoes for goodness sake. It is absolutely vital that you get this right, not working off a guess.

  • Phew, nearly applied but googled for more info and turned out to be a scam. Can anyone recommend any high street lender? Does anyone know of anyone that's been approved recently regardless of a few late payments over four years ago?
