What SD card???

Hi,

I have just purchased a new camera TZ 10. I need an SD card and would appreciate your advice on what and where to buy. I would like decnt storage capacity and I understand fast write speed is required for video recording. I have no idea what is good enough?

How quick is class 4? is that better or worse than 6.

Are you sure about it accepting Compact Flash (CF) Cards?

OOooops well spotted, I might have ordered CF instead of SD.

Google Transcend Class 10 16GB, it should be around £16-£18, I have this one and its both speedy and reliable.

The higher the 'class' number the faster the card.

You'll struggle to get a slow 16GB SDHC card for £16 so the Transcend one (mentioned in other posts) represents very good value atm
