in my last posting about a getting a new job i wrongly said we was in receipt of Income support. We're not we are on incapacity benefit. Have phoned the job center this morning and because partners receives this benefit we need to make an appointment with a PATHWAYS advisers.
How does this affect my going to work? Is it just another name. Getting confused.
All we want to know is are we entitled to get any help. I did go to DIRECTGOV and did an online assessment which i think i filled in wrong because it said he would still get income support of £65.45 a week. Well i now know i filled it in wrong as we get a different benefit.

Its a pathways to work assessment - details here:

and

Because its a joint claim you will need to see an adviser but the good news is that they will help you with all of your claims for WTC etc and tell you about any other grants that you can get.Free/impartial debt advice: Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) | National Debtline | Find your local CAB0 -
Have you tried www.entitledto.co.uk I find that benefits calculator easier to use than the direct gov one
