    I now work on 2 hours before check in. Only because I have missed flights in the states and been stuck for hours and hours waiting for a stand by seat (and depending on the airline in the states they do try and hold flights for people).
    I would take a book and my cube radio and park myself somewhere just to make sure I was there on time because there is no way they are going to wait for you.

  • thanks all for ur advice maybe worth looking into this if its snowing few days b4 ill be booking another bus alot early end of the day ive paid 20 quid for this flight bargain it seems a risk when i go again ill ask about more info on these buses with service etc end of the day ive still got 1 hour 50 mins no suite cases i check in online thanks for all your advice

    I don't think anyone has mentioned the time it might take you to get through Security.
    I've not flown from Birmingham but the queues for Security at East Midlands early in the morning were huge.

    Imho, 1 hour 35 minutes is cutting it too fine, based on a 2 hour bus journey that may arrive later than scheduled for a number of reasons.

    As a number of other people have said, I'd rather arrive too early at the airport than be left fuming because the coach was stuck in a traffic jam and got me there too late for the flight.
